A Builder-Led Renovation, Refined by Design

This Southgate property had been purchased by a builder and taken back to its shell, creating the opportunity for a complete rethink. With the overall layout already broadly established, MALT was brought in to refine the spatial planning and develop the interior design across the whole home, ensuring each room felt purposeful, connected and considered.

The design focused on creating a refined family home with strong material character and practical everyday function. In the kitchen and living space, warm timber, dark textured cabinetry, stone surfaces and layered lighting created depth and atmosphere, while large openings to the garden brought in light and connection. Bespoke joinery, statement surfaces and carefully detailed bathrooms continued the sense of craft throughout, balancing bold choices with calm, liveable spaces.

The result is a fully transformed home that feels coherent, elevated and ready for modern family life. What began as a shell is now a richly layered interior with warmth, flow and lasting impact.
